Freeman Vineyards the home of two of Australia's very different wines was established in 1999 in the Hilltops region of New South Wales, a location largely overlooked by expansionist wine companies.
The property was purchased in 1989 with the aim of producing premium cool climate wine grapes, on its volcanic red soils situated at 500m above sea level. The property has had a long history in the region as vines were originally planted in 1886.
